The Arlington ISD Education Foundation (AEF) Board of Directors has voted to officially support the Arlington Independent School District Bond 2026 propositions. During its meeting on March 31, 2026, the Board approved endorsement of Propositions A, B, and C on the May 2, 2026 ballot.
The Arlington ISD Bond 2026 package represents a comprehensive investment in the future of Arlington students, addressing critical needs in safety and security, technology, and facilities that support both academic and extracurricular excellence.
“As an organization dedicated to empowering student success, the Arlington ISD Education Foundation is proud to support this bond,” said Jeannie Deakyne, Executive Director of the Arlington ISD Education Foundation. “Propositions A, B, and C reflect thoughtful planning and a commitment to ensuring that every student has access to safe, modern learning environments and the tools they need to thrive.”
The Foundation’s mission centers on enhancing educational opportunities through innovative classroom grants and strategic investments in Arlington ISD. Since its founding in 1994, AEF has awarded more than $3 million to support creative and impactful learning experiences for students across the district.
“While the Foundation plays an important role in funding innovative programs, bonds support large-scale infrastructure, safety enhancements, and districtwide technology investments,” Board President Suzanne Taylor added. “These propositions work hand-in-hand with our mission by creating conditions where innovation and excellence can flourish.”
The Arlington ISD Bond 2026 includes:
· Proposition A: Investments in school facilities, safety, and campus improvements
· Proposition B: Funding for instructional technology and student devices
· Proposition C: Enhancements to fine arts and athletic facilities
