The Arlington ISD Education Foundation's "Celebrate the Foundation 2024," held on October 19, 2024, at the AISD Dr. Marcelo Cavazos Center for Visual and Performing Arts, was an incredible success. Co-chaired by Drs. Catherine and Albert Parra, the event brought together hundreds of community members, educators, and supporters to raise funds for the foundation’s initiatives, which focus on enhancing educational opportunities across Arlington ISD.

The evening featured remarks from Founding members who were integral in establishing the Foundation in 1994. Attendees were inspired by stories from educators who have benefited from the foundation’s support, underscoring the impact of their contributions. Live and silent auctions, paired with an engaging program, helped the foundation surpass its fundraising goals for the night.

Executive Director Jeannie Deakyne expressed her deep appreciation for the overwhelming support from the community. She highlighted the importance of the foundation’s role in promoting innovation and enriching the learning environment for all Arlington ISD students. The event was not just a celebration of the foundation’s work over the last 30 years, but also a reflection of the district’s bright future, made possible by the continued generosity and dedication of its supporters.
