Through this project, we will provide equitable access to enrichment opportunities that support college and career readiness for AVID students. By funding bus transportation and meals, 7th- and 8th-grade AVID students will participate in a service day at Mission Arlington.  Eighth graders will attend an additional college and career-focused field trip.

These experiences are designed to broaden exposure to higher education, advance AVID's mission to close the achievement gap, and align with Arlington ISD's vision of preparing all students for college, career, and citizenship.
