Partners in Education


Our Partners in Education have shown continuous generosity, each donating $100,000 or more over the years.

Dan Dipert Family Fund

The Dan Dipert Family Fund gave a cumulative $100,000 donation to the AISD Education Foundation in the fall of 2006, with a challenge to match. Again in September 2009, Dan Dipert Family Fund challenged the community to generate another $100,000 over the next 12 months to the Foundation’s endowment.  The Dipert Family agreed to match up to $100,000 received by September 21, 2010 (or pledged for receipt by September 21, 2011.)

The Family owns Dan Dipert Coaches & Tours, which offers motorcoach rental and group tours.

Family members are Dan Dipert Sr. and wife Linda, son Dan Dipert Jr. and daughter Autumn Dipert Brown.


National Semiconductor

National Semiconductor has been a longstanding community partner for the Arlington Independent School District, specifically focusing on helping students embrace the magic and creativity of science.  In addition to giving funds directly to the school district, National Semiconductor’s generous support of the AISD Education Foundation over the years has established the company as one of the Foundation’s Partners in Education.

Since National Semiconductor began its science initiatives in 2000, the AISD along with the AISD Education Foundation have been the recipients of more than $1 million worth of incentives and grants, effectively improving educational opportunities for students at all grade levels.


Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott, LLP

Since November 1994, PBFCM has been a staunch supporter of the Education Foundation, providing a strong financial foundation.  David and Peggy Fielders have given both personally and through their corporate association to make sure that students in the AISD abundant opportunities


Star-Telegram, Arlington

The Star-Telegram was a Founding Circle Sponsor of the Education Foundation, beginning its involvement, financial and staff support in the Fall of 1994.  Since that time, the Star-Telegram has been directly involved with events, grant awards and recognition activities, along with helping to build community awareness.
